SZINORG Universal Zrt. recognised at the Debrecen Ball

After a five-year break, the Debrecen City Ball was held again on 25 January 2025. Organised for the eighth time by the municipality together with the University of Debrecen and the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the ball was once again held in the spirit of charity: the proceeds support the Public Foundation for Talented Young People of Debrecen.

SZINORG Universal Zrt. is committed to supporting young talent and takes part regularly in events that help the local community develop. Our company joined the supporters' appeal announced by the Debrecen Ball. In recognition, Gyula Szűcs, Chairman and CEO of our Group, received a commemorative certificate from László Papp, Mayor of Debrecen, and Zoltán Szilvássy, Rector of the University of Debrecen, at this prestigious occasion.

More than forty Debrecen companies and organisations supported the event. Many of the city's leading businesses were present, for whom the ball always offers an opportunity to meet.

"This is a tradition in Debrecen — there were once very substantial three-day balls here, and chamber balls too. We are continuing that tradition, and continuing to achieve a great deal as a dynamic, creative community," noted Ferenc Miklóssy, President of the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
