Heartfelt support for Különleges Akadémia — a sporting experience for exceptional children

Taking an active part in social responsibility matters a great deal to SZINORG Group. In that spirit, on 22 November we welcomed special guests to our box at Nagyerdei Stadion: ten young athletes from Debrecen's Különleges Akadémia, together with their companions and coaches.

The children watched the DVSC–Kazincbarcika match from the best seats in the stadium and cheered wholeheartedly for their favourite team. DVSC's win made the evening more memorable still — as did the signed footballs and SZINORG gift packages we surprised them with.

As part of our support, we also presented the Academy's representatives with sports equipment vouchers, so they can provide the children with the kit they most need and support both their development and their opportunities to play.

We were especially pleased that PannonGuard joined our initiative, so that 18 children in all were able to share in the experience.

Különleges Akadémia is a joint initiative of the City of Debrecen, the Sportcentrum and DVSC. Founded on an Italian model, its purpose is to develop young people with special educational needs into athletes. Its specialist methodology rests on the combined work of special education teachers, coaches and psychologists, so that the children can enjoy sport without limits.
